Courtney has been an aspiring dancer since the age of three. She has received her training from local studios and summer programs such as Boston Ballet, Carolina Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and the Boston Conservatory. Courtney has received many awards and recognition at both regional and national dance competitions. During this time she was also performing with Ballet Arts Worcester in their production of the Nutcracker for 10 years. After graduating high school, Courtney followed her love of dance to be a full time student at the Hartt School at the University of Hartford, where she received a BFA in Dance Performance in 2017. She has had the opportunity to study classical forms in Ballet, Pointe, Limon, Graham technique, Contemporary and Composition. Courtney was fortunate enought to have studied under Hilda Morales, Debra Collins-Ryder, Elizabeth McMillan, Nina Watt, Ralph Perkins, Miki Orihara, Stephen Pier and Katie Stevinson-Nollet. She has performed in many classical, contemporary and new works directed by her professors and guest artists, as well as being cast in many senior black box productions. She now lives in the Boston area where she dances with the Bosoma Dance Company and teaches for studios in Worcester County.
