Ballet

Classical ballet, which originated in Renaissance Italy and established its present form during the 19th century, is characterized by light, graceful, fluid movements and the use of pointe shoes.  Ballet is the foundation for all styles of dance.  Your child will learn proper ballet terminology and technique during these classes. He or she will also develop flexibility, poise, strength, and balance. Ballet classes are progressive and encourage children to develop valuable skills.

Pointe is offered under the discretion of the teachers. Requirements include 2 ballet classes per week.
